I don't think Wednesday's could come at a better time. Saturday and Sunday spoil my lazy butt, so coming back to school Monday and Tuesday usually make me tired, grumpy and probably even lazier. By Wednesday I'm usually just surviving.
By surviving I mean overly excited because at my school we have WINDSUIT WEDNESDAYS!
Whoever came up with this idea was a flippin' genius, but I have a little bit of a problem. The windsuits never fit me right, unless you like the crotch at your knees kind of look. I guess I could just add a gold chain and some "swagga" to my step, but I would probably just look like a fool. Thank goodness our "windsuit wednesdays" can be changed out for another jeans and school shirt day.
The absolute BEST part of this day is getting to wear running shoes with my jeans. By Wednesday, my "dogs" are barking at me like no ones business.
Seriously, after standing up ALL day long, MY FEET HURT.

I think I have a little bit of an obsession with Jessica Simpson shoes, but they're all so stinkin tall that I'm an accident waiting to happen. No one wants to see me bobbin around in those shoes trying not to bust my butt.
Or maybe you're one of THOSE friends that laughs at my pain.

But I would probably be curled up in a ball, crying in the corner like 5 year old Danielle used to do.
Mom, if you tell them I was really bright red and screaming bloody murder in that corner I wont talk to you for a week.
Instead, I'll settle for wearing whatever other shoes I can every other day of the week and by super excited when I get to wear these on Wednesday and Friday.

I am also that friend, but I also expect my friends to laugh at me when I do something like that. If you can't laugh at yourself life is boring. I am not much on wearing heels, I am much more a boots and running shoes kind of girl :)

I wear flats to work. Tennis shoes would be my go to shoe if I could. All of my friends wear the super high heels. I love my ankles too much for that!

ReplyDeleteWTF is a wind suit? I wear flip flops every day until there is ice on the ground. I am not that friend, but my mom totally is. So are all my other friends. And I'm clumsy. People who wear heels astound me. Of course, it might be a little easier sitting in an office all day rather then teaching!
