Why I'm NOT running.

My foot has been feeling funky.
There were a couple days when I seriously thought it was broke...again.
It was pretty bad after I got back from Vegas, but I'm guessing it was because I walked so much.
I'm taking it easy...which means no running.
It haven't felt that shooting pain or woke up to a super stiff foot in about a week. Hopefully that means progress.
AHHH.
I'm thinking about starting to cycle and give my foot a break.
Good??
Bad???

I know. my fault. I pushed it and ran too hard to soon.

  3. My foot felt funky last week... I thought I might have fractured a bone or something... so I only ran 2 days... skipped my long run this past weekend and now it feels fine so hopefully i'll get my long run in tomorrow!
Hopefully all your foot needs is a little rest! :) Also, biking isn't such a bad idea :)

  4. Def take a step back and try the alternatives until you're feeling right again. You don't want to go back girl, believe me!!! I've really been enjoying cycling and even the elliptical has it's redeeming qualities...

  7. Boo! I am so so sorry. I have no advice because I am an idiot and would probably keep running. But you should be smarter than me and take more time off. Boo again!

  8. I think biking sounds like a great idea!! I'm sad to hear that your foot is hurting, and I hope it feels better ASAP!!! But in the meantime you're probably wise to not run on it

  11. Go for some cycling! I thought it wasn't as good of a workout as running before I got my bike - oh was I wrong. It's so hard in a different way. Or read some trashy magazines on the elliptical. My husband had a really bad football injury in college (like, so bad he lost his entire scholarship) and he said it's so hard to trust your body again after an injury. You'll get there, though!

  12. I know it's hard to take time off when you are just getting back into it but you don't want to hurt it more. Are you wearing flip flops a lot? Could be that!
